Verheeskade I marks a major first step in the redevelopment of Laakhaven Centraal, a brownfield site in The Hague. Located next to a new city park and the Laak canal, this development is a central starting point for the transformation of the neighbourhood.
The project comprises approximately 1,000 new homes, mainly for single or two-person households, including 681 student residences. The diversity of housing types, ranging from studios to spacious apartments, will create a dynamic and varied community of residents.
With its scale and versatility, Verheeskade I plays a key role in improving the quality of life and attractiveness of Laakhaven Centraal. The project lays a solid foundation for its future development as a dynamic and forward-looking urban neighbourhood within the Central Innovation District.
